Sherwood Park
Even though Sherwood Park Boasts over 83,000 residents it is able to keep its status as a Hamlet which helps benefit it’s residents as revenue from it’s oil refineries can go directly into providing services for the community. Originally developed in 1952 as an area for the oil field workers to live, the area is now an attractive place to live with numerous large commercial shopping areas, recreation and leisure facilities and other amenities for its residents to enjoy.
